Full Court Press Career Night Set for Feb. 20

Feb. 6, 2003

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The Santa Clara University Department of Athletics & Recreation has partnered with the University's Career Center to provide a career networking event for students during a Bronco women's basketball game. The Full Court Press Career Night will be held on Thursday, Feb. 20, in the Leavey Center as the Broncos face the University of San Francisco at 7 p.m.

The event will be geared toward students interested in sales, marketing, communications, sports marketing and media relations and will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a panel comprised of individuals from the various fields. The panel will be followed by a Mini Career Fair that will take place from 6:15 to 7 p.m. and again during halftime.

This unique event is a collaborative effort between the Career Center and the Department of Athletics to offer students and employers a more informal opportunity than a traditional career fair to meet and network, all within the context of a Women's Basketball Game. It is co-sponsored by the SCU American Marketing Association and by the Student Athlete Leadership Council.

All students and jobseekers are welcome. Ruff Riders and the first 100 Santa Clara students will be admitted free. Doors will open at 5:15 p.m.
