On the game:
"I was very pleased with our efforts in the beginning of the first half. Our whole focus is defense and we set the tone defensively right from the tip. Of all the numbers, outside of having more points than them, I am most proud that we held USF to a low field goal percentage. Our goal is to keep our opponents below 36 percent. We did a pretty good job tonight of forcing them to make tough shots."
On USF's performance in the second half:
"They had a lot of open looks with single coverage on the block. We wanted to double up in the post. But they just got easy buckets and we really needed to make them work for their shots to win."
On Chandice Cronk's performance:
"Her shot wasn't falling in the first half but her shot selection was good tonight. She made a couple of great buckets for us. She's just a phenomenal shooter."
On Jen Gottschalk's team leading performance:
"Jen had a great second half. She was very aggressive and so into the situations. She had such a big bucket for us when the shot clock was going down. She was the senior leader of the second half."
On Tracey Walker's defensive efforts:
"Tracey did a great job defending Shay Rollins tonight and Tracey was such a tenacious rebounder tonight."
