Head Coach Michelle Bento-Jackson

On the team's fifth straight conference win:
"It is awesome. I am so happy for my players. They continue to fight and that's all I ask of them is to keep their heads in the game and to fight to the buzzer goes off. They did that and it worked in our favor tonight. I was so pleased with the effort."

On the struggle for control in the first half:
"Portland controlled pretty much the entire time. We had too many defensive errors. We were allowing them to get easy buckets instead of making them work hard for their shots. At the same time, we did not execute as many fast break opportunities for ourselves that really could have made a difference in where we were in the game."

On what she told the team during the eight minute media timeout:
"Each timeout was focused on getting our players to continue to believe, fight and that things were going to work out fine. I have to say they did have a look on their face the entire game that they were going to win."

On Chandice Cronk coming through once again in the final seconds of the game:
"Pressure is nothing to Chandice. She thrives in those situations where she has pressure and unbelievable is the word that comes to mind. Tonight she also had a tough defensive assignment in guarding Portland's leading scoring and she just put 40 minutes together of hard-fought basketball game on both ends of the floor. She left it all out there tonight. She took the team on her back and carried us."

On the large contingent of Bronco fans in the stands:
"We did have a lot of fans and that doesn't surprise me. We have current players and quite a few former players who are from this area and their parents came to watch. It was awesome the support we had from our fans tonight."
