SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The Santa Clara University women's basketball program has welcomed three incoming freshmen to the Mission Campus. Pictured from left to right, Iman Scott, Arteivia Lilomaiava and Ricki Radanovich, are the newest additions to the Bronco basketball family.

"They bring athleticism and a winning attitude to our program," said Santa Clara head women's basketball coach Jennifer Mountain. "They also provide different pieces that we may have been missing to the puzzle, which will help us be successful in the next year."

All three players come from winning high school programs here in the Bay Area, traits Mountain and her coaching staff have targeted in the recruiting process. Both Radanovich (Carondelet High School) and Scott (Archbishop Mitty High School) starred for perennial NorCal powerhouses while Lilomaiava (Aragon High School) was twice named the Peninsula Bay League's `Most Valuable Player.'

"They absolutely fit, and that's why we recruited them," said Mountain. "I got to see them move into the dorms with their parents and they're pretty excited. We've had great interaction with them throughout the past year so it's like we are not missing a beat. We're ready to get this year started."

Santa Clara University's academic Summer Session II runs through Friday, August 27. Following a break, the student-athletes will report back to campus for fall classes in mid September. Official team practices in preparation for the 2010-11 season are scheduled to begin on Friday, October 15.
