SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Women's basketball sophomore Taylor Williams (TW) chatted with Santa Clara Broncos (SCB) about her summer, how she likes to spend her free time and her time here at SCU.

SCB: I hope you enjoyed your summer! You and the team spent a lot of time training and preparing for this year, what did a typical day of training consist of?

TW: Our days usually consisted of either weight lifting, conditioning or court-work. We made strength a priority this summer, and we all worked hard to get stronger!

SCB: While you weren't training, did you travel anywhere or go on any trips this summer?

TW: I was able to go home to Colorado twice this summer.  While in Colorado I did the Color Run and went to the season opening game of my favorite football team, the Denver Broncos!

SCB: Entering your sophomore year at SCU, is there anything in particular you are looking forward to doing this year?

TW: This year our team is playing a game in Colorado Springs, so I will be excited to play in my home state!! We are also going to Mexico during Thanksgiving break, which will be really fun. I am just super excited to get it all started!

SCB: Besides playing basketball, what is your favorite way to spend your free time?

TW: I love going to concerts and enjoy listening to all types of music! Other than that, I love to sleep.

SCB: What was your favorite experience from your freshman year at SCU?

TW: My favorite experience from last year was getting closer to the team. We are truly a family and I know these girls will have my back for the rest of my life.
