SANTA CLARA, Calif. – With just one game this week, Santa Clara women's basketball travels to San Francisco to take on the Dons Thursday at 7 p.m. Last week, the Broncos took down Gonzaga for the first time in 10 years and eased by Portland to extend their winning streak to five games.

Santa Clara is outscoring opponents 65.7-57.4 and outrebounding teams 41.4-33.0. The Broncos are No. 16 in the country with 16.4 offensive rebounds per game and their +8.4 rebound margin is No. 24 nationally. Their 911 total rebounds are also 21st in the nation.

As a team Santa Clara forces 22.5 turnovers per game, which is eighth in the country. The Broncos are fourth nationally in steals (283) and steals per game (12.9).

Santa Clara shoots 39.9 percent from the floor and has made 84 3-pointers. The Broncos are ninth in the country with 483 free throw attempts and No. 16 with 325 free throws made.

Lori Parkinson leads the team in scoring (11.4 ppg) and rebounding (6.4 pg). She is second with 45 steals and third with 42 assists.

Savanna Hanson leads the Broncos with 2.4 assists per game and 22 3-pointers made. She scores 9.1 ppg and is second with 2.2 steals per game.

Taylor Berry is No. 32 in the country with 55 steals and adds 7.3 ppg to go with 4.0 rpg.

Santa Clara is 59-36 all-time vs. San Francisco with the first meeting coming in 1964-65. Earlier this season the Broncos took down the Dons 68-57 in Leavey.

San Francisco is outscoring opponents 72.1-66.4 and outrebounding teams 38.5-33.8. The Dons shoot 43.7 percent from the floor and 36.1 percent from beyond the arc.

After starting conference action 1-5, the Dons have gone 4-1 in their last five games.

Taylor Proctor leads the team with 18.4 ppg and is shooting 50.0 percent from the floor. She also leads the way with 3.6 apg, 1.3 blocks per game, and 8.5 rpg.

Zhane Dikes scores 14.9 ppg and leads San Francisco with 2.1 spg. She is second on the Dons with 7.5 rpg.

Rachel Howard has hit a team-best 43 3-pointers and is scoring 11.0 ppg.
