SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Season tickets are on sale now for the 2016-17 Santa Clara women's basketball season. The schedule features 12 regular season games as well as two exhibition games in the Leavey Center.

Head coach Bill Carr is in his first season as head coach of the Broncos who won 23 games last season and made the WNIT, their first postseason appearance in 10 years. They return nine players, including First Team All-WCC selections Marie Bertholdt and Lori Parkinson.

After facing Notre Dame de Namur on Nov. 2 and Chico State on Nov. 5 for a pair of tune-ups, the Broncos welcome Idaho State for the season-opener on Nov. 11. The final two non-conference home games feature UC Santa Cruz on Dec. 11 and Northwestern on Dec. 17.

West Coast Conference play begins with BYU on Dec. 29 and wraps-up Feb. 25 with rival Saint Mary's for senior day. Santa Clara finished tied for third in the conference last year and advanced to the semifinals of the WCC Tournament.

Season tickets for women's basketball are $84 for all 14 games.
