Women's Basketball Faces Oklahoma State in Las Vegas Monday

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Continuing a stretch of four games in five days, Santa Clara women's basketball faces Oklahoma State Monday at 5:30 p.m. in the first round of the Play 4 Kay Shootout in Las Vegas.

Santa Clara lost the only meeting with Oklahoma State 91-87 in overtime on Dec. 18, 2003. The game was played in Santa Clara.

On Saturday the Broncos fell to Northwestern 87-75.

THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara (4-4) is shooting 41.3 percent from the field and 33.1 percent from beyond the arc as a team. The Broncos have a plus-5.4 rebound differential and are forcing 16.0 turnovers per game.

Lori Parkinson is the team's top rebounder, pulling down 8.8 per contest. She adds 10.3 ppg as well.

THE COWGIRLS
Oklahoma State (8-0) has played just one game away from home this season and went to overtime with Washington State before winning 79-72 in the closest game of the year for the Cowgirls.

They are winning games by an average of 23.3 points and have a plus-12.5 rebound advantage thanks to bringing down 46.6 per game. The Cowgirls shoot 46.0 percent from the floor and 37.4 percent from beyond the arc.

Kaylee Jensen leads the team in scoring with 17.9 ppg and rebounding with 10.6 per game. She also leads the team with a 55.0 percent mark from the field and is adding 1.8 bpg.

Karli Wheeler leads the team with 24 3-pointers made and is shooting 45.3 percent from downtown. She is second on the team with 14.9 ppg  and is adding 3.3 apg. Diana Omozee leads Oklahoma State with 3.8 apg and is scoring 8.4 ppg while Mandy Coleman scores 12.5 ppg and grabs 6.5 rpg.
