SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Coming off a tough loss, Santa Clara women's basketball gets right back on the floor Saturday at 2 p.m. vs. Pepperdine.

The Broncos fell to San Diego on Thursday 57-56 in a game that went back-and-forth for much of the second half.

Santa Clara is 37-35 all-time vs. Pepperdine and 21-13 in Leavey. The first meeting came during the 1978-79 season. Last year the Broncos won both meetings and have a four-game winning streak against the Waves.

THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara (8-8, 3-2 WCC) is scoring 64.4 points per game and has a plus-3.1 rebounding margin. The Broncos are forcing 16.4 turnovers a game while shooting 39.9 percent from the field and 31.4 percent from 3-point land.

Emily Wolph leads the team with 13.1 points per game, 4.1 assists per game, and 41 3-pointers made. Lori Parkinson is bringing down a team-high 8.0 rebounds per game and is second in scoring with 12.4 ppg. She also leads the team with 2.0 steals per game and is second with 2.9 apg.

Morgan McGwire is second with 7.4 rpg and third with 11.6 ppg while blocking a team-high 1.3 blocks per game. Marie Bertholdt scores 10.2 ppg and grabs 5.6 rpg.

THE WAVES
Pepperdine (5-11, 3-2 WCC) started the season with nine straight losses but have since won six of eight.

The Waves are being outscored 66.1-61.2 and outrebounded 43.1-40.4 on the season. They are shooting 35.7 percent from the floor and 31.8 percent from beyond the arc.

Robinson-Bacote leads the team with 15.5 ppg and 8.6 rpg. Sydney Bordonaro leads the Waves with 30 3-pointers made and is scoring 9.6 ppg. Barbara Sitanggan is averaging 4.6 apg and 2.3 to lead Pepperdine. She is scoring 5.6 ppg as well.

Allie Green is second in scoring with 14.0 ppg while grabbing 4.8 rpg. Megan House is second on the team with 7.7 rpg and fourth with 6.3 ppg.

PromotionsRuff Riders can claim their ticket to the Santa Clara men's basketball game against Gonzaga at this Saturday's women's basketball game. Ruff Riders will receive a raffle ticket at the Ruff Riders entrance that will be redeemable for their Gonzaga game ticket at the conclusion of Saturday's game. Tickets will begin at 1pm and will be distributed while supplies last.

Parking: For weekday games, the Leavey Center lot, located on Accolti Way off El Camino Real, is free beginning one hour prior to tipoff. Any other parking facility on campus will be subject to normal daily rates or restrictions, including the main structure, located on Palm Drive.
