SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's basketball has added a trio of transfers to its roster. Erica Meyer, Joeseta Fatuesi, and Lauren Yearwood will all have to sit out the 2017-18 season due to NCAA rules while Charise Holloway is eligible.

Meyer transferred from Providence after playing two years for the Friars.

At Wilton High School, Meyer led her team to an 81-19 overall record and won the Connecticut Class LL State Title as a senior. She was a three-time All-FCIAC honoree and at the conclusion of 2014-15 season, was named CHSSBA All-State First Team, CHSSBA Connecticut West Region Player of the Year, and West Region All-Star, MSG Varsity All-State First Team and All Tri-State Honorable Mention, USA Today All-USA Connecticut Second Team, New Haven Register All-State Second Team, The Hour All-Area First Team, Hearst Connecticut Media Group Super 15 All-Star, CHSCA All-Star and CHSCA All-Star Game Most Valuable Player.

Fatuesi played two seasons at Utah before transferring to Santa Clara.

She appeared in all 33 games for Utah a season ago while averaging 4.4 ppg and 3.4 rpg and scoring in double-figures three times. As a freshman, Fatuesi ranked 16th in the Pac-12 with 6.3 rpg. That season she started 24 of the teams last 25 games. She had seven double-digit points games and three 10-plus rebound outings.

In high school, she was a two-time all-state selection that ranked 10th in the NorCalPreps.com Top 40. She was also named MaxPreps 2013-14 De Anza Division MVP and helped Wilcox High School qualify for the state tournament during senior season with 23-5 record.

Yearwood was part of Oregon's Elite 8 team last season as a sophomore.

She appeared in 20 games and made two starts in 2016-17 while appearing in the Sweet 16 and Elite 8. As a freshman, she appeared in 26 games and saw time in the WNIT.

Yearwood also has international experience playing on the U15, U16, U17 and U19 Canadian National teams in FIBA competitions … with the U19 team in the summer of 2015, she averaged 8.3 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.9 assists at the tournament while shooting 56.4 percent from the field.

She led Oak Bay High School to a 2013 British Columbia AAA Silver Medal, falling just short in the championship game and earned first team all-tournament honors.

Holloway comes to Santa Clara from Arizona.

Last year she played in just 15 games due to injury but scored 6.3 ppg and knocked down 17 3-pointers to place third on the team. Her freshman year she played in 28 games and started five while averaging 6.6 ppg and 3.2 rpg.

At St. Mary's High School Holloway earned a starting spot all four years. She was All-Conference, All-City, and All-State each year of high school and was nominated for Miss Basketball California. Holloway was the 2014 Northern California Division 1 Player of the Year and was team captain and MVP as a senior.
