SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's basketball continues its three-game homestand with a matchup against No. 24 Cal Saturday at 2 p.m.
In their last action, the Broncos fell to San Jose State 71-66 in overtime on Tuesday.
SERIES HISTORY
Santa Clara is 10-32 all-time against Cal with the first meeting coming in 1963-64. Last year the Broncos fell in Berkeley. The last trip to Santa Clara for the Bears was 1999.

THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara (2-4) is scoring 56.3 points per game on 36.8-percent shooting from the field. The Broncos are forcing 18.3 turnovers per game and collecting 10.5 steals per game as well.
Morgan McGwire leads the team in scoring (11.2 ppg), rebounding (7.2 pg), steals (2.8 pg), and blocks (1.5 pg). Kyla Martin leads the way in assists 5.2 pg and is second with 10.0 ppg. Ashlyn Herlihy had knocked down a team-best eight 3-pointers and is scoring 9.5 ppg with 5.0 rpg. Taylor Berry scores 8.3 ppg and adds 5.7 rpg.
THE BEARS
Both of Cal's (4-2) losses have been to ranked teams. The Bears fell at No. 1 Connecticut and against No. 23 Missouri.
They are scoring 74.8 ppg on 46.7-percent shooting from the field and 38.5-percent from downtown. The team has a plus-9.4 rebound differential and forces 17.0 tpg.
Kristine Anigwe leads the team in scoring with 16.2 ppg and rebounding with 9.2 pg. She also shoots a team-best 56.0-percent from the floor. Mi'Cole Cayton is scoring 13.0 ppg while Asha Thomas scores 12.3 ppg and knocked down a team-leading 17 3-pointers. Kianna Smith is tops with 4.7 apg and adds 9.8 ppg.

Parking: For weekday games, the Leavey Center lot, located on Accolti Way off El Camino Real, is free beginning one hour prior to tipoff. Any other parking facility on campus will be subject to normal daily rates or restrictions, including the main structure, located on Palm Drive.
