Three-Game Road Trip for Women's Basketball Begins at Portland

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's basketball begins a three-game road trip Saturday at Portland at 2 p.m.

On Thursday, the Broncos fell to LMU at home in their final game in Leavey Center for two weeks.

SERIES HISTORY
Santa Clara is 42-30 all-time against Portland with the first meeting coming in 1986-87. The Broncos have won eight in a row in the series, dating back to the 2013-14 season.

THE BRONCOS

Julie Spencer leads Portland with 13.4 ppg on 48.4-percent shooting from the field. Spencer also grabs a team-high 6.6 rpg. Darian Slaga scores 12.4 ppg and Kate Andersen adds 9.9. Rachelle Ownes dishes out a team leading 3.8 apg while scoring 5.1 ppg.
