SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's basketball hits the road but stays in the Bay Area to take on San Francisco at 2 p.m. Saturday.

On Thursday, the Broncos fell at Pacific in a defensive struggle.

SERIES HISTORY
Santa Clara is 61-38 all-time against San Francisco with the first meeting coming in 1964-65. Earlier this year the Dons escaped Leavey with a close win.

THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara (7-15, 3-8 WCC) continues to lead the WCC by allowing just 57.5 points per game. The Broncos force 15.9 turnovers per game and collecting 9.0 steals per game as well.

Morgan McGwire leads the team in scoring with 10.4 ppg and is third in the conference with 9.0 rebounds per game. She is second in the league in blocks (1.8 pg) and leads Santa Clara in steals (2.2 pg). Ashlyn Herlihy is scoring 9.4 ppg and is tied with Dru Toleafoa for the team lead in 3-pointers made. Taylor Berry scorings 8.2 ppg and is second on the team with 6.4 rpg while Kyla Martin's 4.7 assists per game leads the team and she scores 8.2 ppg.

THE DONS
San Francisco (10-12, 5-6 WCC) has lost two in a row and three of four. The Dons are scoring 69.0 ppg on 41.3-percent shooting from the floor and 32.7-percent from beyond the arc.

Anna Seilund leads the team with 15.2 ppg, 4.7 apg, and 37 3-pointers made. Michaela Rakova grabs a conference-high 9.3 rpg and is second on the Dons with 12.6 ppg. Shannon Powell scores 10.4 ppg with 4.8 rpg.
