Women's Basketball Plays Final Road Game at LMU Thursday

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's basketball heads on the road for the final time this season and plays at LMU Thursday at 7 p.m.

Last week, the Broncos picked up wins at home over Portland and Pacific.

SERIES HISTORY
Santa Clara is 47-25 all-time against Loyola Marymount with the first meeting coming in 1984-85. Earlier this season the Lions picked up a win in Leavey Center.

THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara (9-18) heads into the final weekend of West Coast Conference play with the conference's best defense. The Broncos allow 57.3 points per game while forcing 16.1 turnovers per game and collecting 8.9 steals per game.

Kyla Martin is fifth in the league with 4.4 assists per game and is second on the team with 8.4 ppg. Charise Holloway leads the team in 3-pointers made and averages 7.9 ppg. Taylor Berry's 6.5 rpg are second on the Broncos and she scores 8.0 ppg.

THE LIONS
LMU (17-10, 9-7 WCC) scores 69.0 ppg on 39.6-percent shooting from the field and 29.9-percent from downtown.

Cheyanne Wallace leads the team with 14.3 ppg while adding 6.0 rpg. Gabby Green scores 12.6 ppg and leads the conference with 3.1 spg and the team with 4.5 apg while grabbing 6.7 rpg. Bree Alford leads LMU with 8.7 rpg and scores 7.8 ppg.
