SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Santa Clara senior forward Morgan McGwire was named All-West Coast Conference honorable mention, as announced by the league office Tuesday.
McGwire leads Santa Clara in scoring with 10.0 ppg and is second in the WCC with 9.2 rpg and 1.9 blocks per game. She is fifth in the conference with 2.2 spg as well.
This season she moved into second place in Santa Clara history in blocks with 138 and third with 823 rebounds. With her appearance at the WCC Tournament, she will take sole possession of first place in games played by a Bronco with 121.
Santa Clara faces Pepperdine Thursday at noon in the first round of the WCC Tournament in Las Vegas at the Orleans Arena.
