SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Closing out a three-game homestand, Santa Clara women's basketball hosts Pepperdine in Leavey Center Saturday at 2 p.m.

The Broncos fell to LMU 69-60 Thursday night to open the week.

SERIES HISTORY
Santa Clara is 40-38 all-time against Pepperdine with the first meeting coming in 1978-79. The Waves won the first matchup 74-48 in Southern California this season.

THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara (10-12 3-8 WCC) holds steady with the third-rated defense in the WCC, allowing 64.5 points per game while forcing 15.5 turnovers per game and collecting 8.1 steals per game. The Broncos score 60.3 ppg on 39.7-percent shooting from the field.

Tia Hay is eighth in the conference with 15.5 ppg and leads Santa Clara with 3.7 assists per game, 2.1 spg, and 33 3-pointers made. Ashlyn Herlihy leads the team in rebounding with 7.1 pg and is second in scoring at 10.6 ppg. Lauren Yearwood is 15th in the country with 2.6 blocks per game while grabbing 7.0 rpg and scoring 6.2 ppg.

THE WAVES
Pepperdine (14-8, 8-4 WCC) has won three in a row, including knocking off No. 25 BYU 79-65 at home. The Waves score 70.7 ppg on 40.2-percent shooting from the field and are second in the WCC with a 37.1-percent mark from downtown.

Yasmine Robinson-Bactoe leads the conference with 19.8 ppg and is sixth with 7.3 rpg. Barbara Sitanggan's 4.5 apg are fourth in the league and she leads the Waves with 2.0 spg while scoring 11.0 ppg. Rose Pflug (29) and Deezha Battle (28) are one and two on the team in 3-pointers made while scoring 7.2 and 7.3 ppg, respectively.

Any other parking facility on campus will be subject to normal daily rates or restrictions, including the main structure, located on Palm Drive.
