SANTA CLARA, Calif. – After completing a three-game homestand, Santa Clara women's basketball heads to rival Saint Mary's Thursday for a 6:30 p.m. tip.

The Broncos dropped a pair of close games to LMU and Pepperdine last week.

SERIES HISTORY
Santa Clara is 35-41 all-time against Saint Mary's with the first meeting coming in 1978-79. The Gaels picked up an 83-59 win in Leavey Center earlier this season.

THE GAELS
Saint Mary's (16-8, 9-4 WCC) has won seven of eight, with the only loss coming to No. 15 Gonzaga. The Gaels lead the WCC with 76.8 ppg, a 48.9-percent mark from the floor, and a 39.0-percent mark from beyond the arc.

Four players are averaging double-figures, with Megan McKay's 12.3 ppg leading the way and she is adding 7.1 rpg. Sydney Raggio is third in the WCC with 8.6 rpg and scores 12.1 ppg with 3.0 apg as well. Sam Simons scores 11.0 ppg and leads the Gales with 41 3-pointers made and Jasmine Forcadilla adds 10.0 ppg.
