Hay Honored as Second Team All-Australian

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – After a tremendous first season with the Broncos, Santa Clara women's basketball player Tia Hay was named Second Team All-Australian by PickandRoll.com.

Hay, a junior college transfer, led Santa Clara with 15.5 points per game, 32.3 minutes per game, a 81.5-percent mark from the free throw line, 4.2 assists per game, and 2.0 steals per game.

The 2019 Second Team All-West Coast Conference pick was sixth in the WCC in points per game with her assists per game ranking fifth. She was fourth in the conference in free throw shooting and fifth in steals per game.

She scored in double-figures in 24 of 31 games, scoring 20-plus points 10 times and dropping 30 at LMU January 12. She added 13 assists against Portland on February 23, tied for fourth most in a game in program history.
