Schedule
SANTA CLARA, Calif.– Santa Clara women's basketball announced its 2019-20 schedule, featuring 13 home games in the Leavey Center with the Nov. 5 opener against UC Santa Cruz the first chance for fans to see the team.
The regular season tips off with a tough test at Arizona Nov. 8 before the Broncos return to Leavey Center for the home-opener against San Jose State on Nov. 12.
A four game road trip follows with dates at UC Davis (Nov. 16) and Missouri State (Nov. 22) before a visit to Cal State Fullerton for a Thanksgiving Tournament that will see Santa Clara take on Montana (Nov. 29) and Delaware (Nov. 30).
After a quick return home Dec. 6 to take on Long Beach State, the Broncos are at Cal (Dec. 14) and CSUN (Dec. 18). A visit from Fresno State Dec. 21 closes out the nonconference slate.
West Coast Conference action begins with a homestand against Pacific (Dec. 28) and Saint Mary's (Dec. 30). League play features home matches with Gonzaga (Jan. 16), Portland (Jan. 18), San Francisco (Feb. 1), LMU (Feb. 6), Pepperdine (Feb. 8). BYU (Feb. 20), and San Diego (Feb. 22) with the matchup with the Toreros serving as Senior Day. Games at Saint Mary's (Feb. 27) and Pacific (Feb. 29) wrap-up the regular season.
The WCC Tournament will be held March 5-10 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
