Women's Basketball Hosts Pepperdine on Saturday for Pink Game

SANTA CLARA, Calif.
 – Santa Clara women's basketball wraps-up a three-game homestand with a visit from Pepperdine Saturday at 2 p.m. in the annual Pink Game for breast cancer awareness.

The Broncos got back in the win column Thursday with a 76-60 win over LMU.

SERIES HISTORY
Santa Clara is 40-40 all-time against Pepperdine with the first meeting coming in 1978-79. The Waves won an overtime contest in Malibu earlier this season.

THE BRONCOS
Santa Clara (9-13, 3-8 WCC) is scoring 70.0 points per game on 41.7-percent shooting from the field and 33.0-percent from beyond the arc.

Tia Hay leads the team with 13.2 ppg and 3.5 assists per game. Ashlyn Herlihy pulls down a team high 7.6 rebounds per game and is second in scoring with 10.9 ppg. Merle Wiehl scorings 8.7 ppg and leads the team with 29 3-pointers made. Lauren Yearwood adds 6.5 ppg and 5.7 rpg with a team best 28 blocks.

THE WAVES 
Pepperdine (12-10, 6-6 WCC) has won three in a row had is above .500 despite being outscored on the season by an average of 66.0-65.2. The Waves are shooting 36.8-percent from the field and allowing opponents to shoot 41.2-percent.

Paige Fecske leads the team with 10.2 ppg. Barbara Sitanggan scores 9.8 ppg to go with a team high 4.2 apg and adds 6.2 rpg. Malia Bambrick has knocked down a team leading 33 3-pointers and scores 9.6 ppg. Hannah Friend scores 9.7 ppg and Monique Andriuolo leads the team with 7.1 rpg while scoring 9.2 ppg.

Joe Ritzo and Kevin Danna handle play-by-play duties at home on the WCC Network. All Broncos home games and West Coast Conference contests (not on an ESPN platform, CBS Sports Network or BYUtv) will also be streamed through WCC Network. Kevin Danna will call the action in Tuesday's season opener against UC Santa Cruz.

PARKING
For weekday games, the Leavey Center lot (see below for access), located on Accolti Way off El Camino Real, is free beginning one hour prior to tipoff. Any other parking facility on campus will be subject to normal daily rates or restrictions, including the main structure, located adjacent to Stevens Stadium on Palm Drive. The construction of the Stephen C. and Patricia A. Schott Athletic Excellence Center has necessitated the closure of the main entrance (off Accolti Way) to the Leavey Center parking lot. Access is now ONLY directly from El Camino Real (Route 82). If you are traveling east on El Camino Real, the Leavey lot entrance will be approximately 150 yards on the right (enter through the black iron gate) after you pass the main campus entrance. If you are traveling west on El Camino, make a u-turn at the main campus entrance at Palm Drive/Railroad Ave and follow the same directions.
