SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Santa Clara women's basketball redshirt junior Ashlyn Herlihy was named All-West Coast Conference honorable mention, as voted on by the league's 10 head coaches.
Herlihy leads the Broncos with 7.0 rebounds per game and is second in scoring with 10.4 points per game. She has registered three double-doubles this season (22 points/18 rebounds vs. San Jose State, 14 points/13 rebounds at Pepperdine,12 points/10 rebounds at Saint Mary's) and scored in double figures 14 times. Herlihy has started 28 of Santa Clara's 29 games this season.
She was also named 2019 All-WCC honorable mention.
The Bronocs, seeded eighth, will take on San Francisco Thursday at noon in the first round of the WCC Tournament from Las Vegas.
