FRESHMAN (2017): Played the entire season alongside Tatiana San Juan at No. 4 in her first year with the team … went 4-11 in duals and 10-22 in sets … San Juan/Gajdka recorded dual wins over Sacramento State, Pacific and San Francisco (twice) … each of the pair’s four dual victories was a sweep … swept USF’s Shannon Levinson/Kate Ashman in an elimination match at the WCC Championship to help the Broncos finish in fourth place (April 21).

PRIOR TO SCU: Played volleyball at International High School in San Francisco … varsity volleyball MVP all four years … Jaguars made the playoffs in each of her four years … attended Junior Nationals every year since her first year of club volleyball at age 12.

PERSONAL: Born in San Francisco … parents are Mariusz and Mariola Gajdka from Poland … has an older brother, Matt … hobbies include running, drawing, driving, dancing … was a member of her Peer Councilor Club … career and future goals include owning a dog and “to be happy doing whatever I end up doing.”

WHY GAJDKA CHOSE SANTA CLARA: “I chose Santa Clara University because I wanted to attend a school that has both excellent athletics and academics. Staying close to home is also very important to me, so having Santa Clara only forty minutes away from home is absolutely perfect."
