SENIOR (2017): Played the entire season at No. 1 … teamed up with Allison Kantor for 14 matches and Kirsten Mead for one match … went 1-14 in duals and 5-29 in sets … Hess/Kantor defeated Pacific’s top pairing of Lexi Elman/Andie Shelton as part of the sixth-seeded Broncos upsetting the fourth-seeded Tigers en route to a fourth-place finish at the WCC Championship (April 21).

JUNIOR (2016): Earned First Team All-WCC honors during the league’s inaugural season … went a team-best 12-4 competing exclusively at the No. 2 position with partner Dani Rottman … opened the season with a 21-16, 21-6 win over Portland’s Makayala Lindburg and Maddy Mandon to help the Bronco’s sweep the Pilots 5-0 on March 10 … downed Cal’s No. 2 pair to secure the 3-2 win against the Bears on March 12 … earned wins in straight sets against Cal Poly and Northridge at the Santa Cruz tournament on April 2 … helped in the Broncos’ win versus Stanford with a win at No. 2 … earned the solo win for the Broncos with Rottman in the Broncos’ 4-1 loss against the LMU lions at the WCC Championship on April 22.

SOPHOMORE (2015): Went 11-9 overall on the season … competed at the No. 1 spot with Kirsten Mead in the majority of matches, but closed out the last four matches of season at the No. 1 spot with partner Dani Rottman … clinched an SCU win with Mead in the dual against USF at the Stanford Invitational … beat Cal Poly in straight sets at the Santa Cruz tournament with Hess on March 28 … earned a point for the Broncos with Rottman at the No. 1 position against Saint Mary’s on April 17 … closed out the season with a win versus Stanford’s No. 1 pair of Brittany Howard and Lauren Birks.

FRESHMAN (2014): Posted a 6-9 overall record … competed exclusively at the No. 1 position with Taylor Milton … earned her first win of the season against San Jose State on March 8 … beat Boise State and Sacramento State in Sacramento helping in the Broncos’ 5-0 sweeps on April 5 … downed Stanford’s top duo of Carly Wopat and Lauren Birks in straight sets 21-16, 24-22 on April 15.

HIGH SCHOOL: Three-time Arizona state champions ... one year runner-up ... two-time All A2 All-State ... Scottsdale Player of the Year ... Region Player of the Year ... All-American Honorable Mention ... placed third at Nationals in 2012. 

PERSONAL: Daughter of Steve and Mary Hess ... has seven siblings - Karl, Steven, Jennifer, Brett, Melissa, Matthew and Jake ... Jennifer played volleyball at Great Falls University ...
