MORAGA, Calif. — Santa Clara beach volleyball dropped a 5-0 decision to Saint Mary's Tuesday afternoon at Moraga Commons. The Broncos (0-9, 0-3 WCC) and Gaels (14-4, 4-0 WCC) met for the second time this season; Saint Mary's defeated Santa Clara 4-1 in the first match of the year on March 4.
Nikki Hess/Allison Kantor (No. 1) and Taylor Laugero/Hailey Lindberg (No. 3) each made it to the 18-point mark in one of their sets on Tuesday. The Broncos picked up an exhibition victory in comeback fashion, as Callie Jones/Laura Willems took down Dominique Dodd/Alex O'Sullivan in three frames.
