SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Santa Clara beach volleyball hits the midpoint of the 2018 season Sunday as part of a two-match lineup at the Monterey College Invitational. The Broncos (1-5) face Arizona (No. 10, 6-2) at 9 a.m. and San José State (RV, 5-6) at 2 p.m. at Monterey Bay Park in Monterey, California.

SCU continued a conference-heavy run to start the season with its fourth West Coast Conference matchup in six duals on Tuesday, March 13. The Broncos lost a 5-0 decision to Saint Mary's at Moraga Commons.

Anna McCreadie/Erin Reineking (No. 5) won the only set on the day for the Broncos in McCreadie's collegiate beach volleyball debut. Santa Clara used new pairings at four positions, including moving Hailey Lindberg up to play at the top spot alongside Kirsten Mead.

Individually, Reineking tops the team with eight set victories and is one of four Broncos with three dual wins for the year.
