SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Santa Clara women's rowing had a pair of student-athletes named to the Preseason All-WCC Team, as announced by the league office on Friday.
Senior Valerie Bright and sophomore Leila Chihab were the two Broncos to receive honors among the 17 from the conference.
Both Bright and Chihab were named All-WCC a year ago after the WCC Championships.
Santa Clara started the season by topping Mills College in three races March 4 at Lexington Reservoir.
The Broncos are off until Saturday, April 7 when they travel to the Covered Bridge Regatta on Dexter Lake in Eugene, Ore.
