DOVE CANYON, Calif. - Santa Clara University junior Balbina Guajardo (pictured) turned in another top 15 finish, placing 14th to lead all Broncos at the 2012 Anteater Invitational at Dove Canyon Country Club. Guajardo shot a 2-under par 69 in round two to surge up the leaderboard.
Bronco teammates Kaci McCartan and Taylor Camany both posted final rounds in the 70's for Santa Clara, who came in 13th as a team.
Washington State emerged as the team champions, edging West Coast Conference member BYU by six shots. San Francisco was another WCC school in the field. The Dons placed 11th, just seven shots in front of SCU.
