Camany, Guajardo Help Bronco Women Move Up the Leaderboard

CHANDLER, Ariz. - Santa Clara University's Taylor Camany surged up the leaderboard, advancing 20 spots Tuesday during second round play of the 2012 Wyoming Cowgirl Classic at Ocotillo Golf Resort in Chandler, Ariz. Camany carded four birdies to bring her two-round birdie total to seven, posting 2-over par 74 to sit in a tie for 31st.

The field at Ocotillo is massive, spanning 24 teams and 127 players. Camany was joined by SCU junior Balbina Guajardo with a 74 Tuesday. Guajardo ranks among the tournament's leaders in pars (25) through 36 holes.

As a team, the Broncos were able to jump from 17th up to 13th and will enter Wednesday's final round six shots from the top 10. SCU's second round 302 was just one off the pace of opening-round leader Iowa, who shot 301 Tuesday. Colorado State is the overnight team leader after back-to-back 292's.
