CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – For the second straight year, Santa Clara's Kristin Le was named one of the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars. The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50. A total of 952 collegiate golfers were recognized.
Le, a 2016 and 2017 WCC All-Academic honoree, has a 3.559 GPA as a business major. She is second in school history in stroke average (75.84) and competed in all 11 events this season. Le became just the second-ever Bronco to compete in the NCAA Women's Golf Championship as she competed in the Albuquerque Regional. She posted eight top-10 finishes on the year, including one tournament victory at the Cal Poly Lady Mustang Invitational. She carded a 7-under 137 at the event, just one stroke of the 36-hole school record. Le finished seventh at the WCC Championships and earned First Team All-WCC accolades for the second consecutive year.

The Women's Golf Coaches Association, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization representing women's collegiate golf coaches. The WGCA was formed to encourage the playing of college golf for women in correlation with a general objective of education and in accordance with the highest tradition of intercollegiate competition. Today, the WGCA represents nearly 600 coaches throughout the U.S. and is dedicated to educating, promoting and recognizing both its members and the student-athletes they represent.
