Women’s Golf Takes Title at Cal Poly Invitational; Moreno, Murez Tie For Runner-up Honors

ARROYO GRANDE, Calif. – Helped by three top-5 individual finishes, Santa Clara women's golf held on to claim the team title at the shortened Cal Poly Invitational, holding off the hosts for a nine-shot victory with a tournament total 22-over 598. The event, which the Broncos won for the second-straight season, was shortened to two rounds after fog delayed Saturday's start.
