SAN BRUNO, Calif. - Marni Murez and Emily Sumner of Santa Clara women's golf earned spots on the 2018-19 West Coast Conference preaseason team.
Murez, a junior, played in five tournaments last season, finishing in the top 20 on three occasions. She posted a scoring average of 75.21, second on the squad.
Sumner saw action in seven of the team's 10 tournaments, with a pair of top 20 showings and a scoring average of 76.50, which ranked third among Broncos.
The Broncos open the season on Sept. 22 at the Penn State Nittany Lion Invitational.
