CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Marni Murez and Chloe Wong of Santa Clara women's golf were rewarded for their prowess in the classroom.
Murez and Wong, a pair of juniors, were named Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars, which requires at least a 3.50 cumulative grade-point average.
A native of Manhattan Beach, California, Murez played in nine events during 2018-19, posting three top 10 finishes, including a season-best fourth-place showing at the UC Irvine Invitational (Oct. 29-30).
Wong, who hails from Honolulu, Hawai'i, competed in five of the team's 10 events this past year.
