Student-Athlete Spotlight: Emily Sumner

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Emily Sumner has had success on the links despite suffering from a rare lung disease. The junior brought home First Team All-West Coast Conference honors as a sophomore when she posted five top 10 finishes in 10 events. For her career, she has a 75.00 scoring average and eight top 20 finishes in 17 events.

It's hard to pick just one. I love all the small, funny moments I have with my teammates and friends.

Favorite SCU class?
Immunology. It was super interesting and informative given what's happening right now with Coronavirus. 

Biggest inspiration?
My family.

Harry Potter.

Favorite meal?
Steak and mashed potatoes with a glass of milk.
