Sutikto Tied For Second After WCC Championship First Round

HENDERSON, Nev. - Freshman golfer Borina Sutikto is tied for second after 18 holes at the West Coast Conference Championship, carding a 3-over 75 on Thursday at the Reflection Bay Golf Course. 

Sutikto finds herself in a four-way tie for second place and five strokes behind the day one leader, Pepperdine's Lauren Gomez (2-under 70). 

Lauren Shew is one stroke behind her teammate at 4-over 76 and tied for sixth. Inara Sharma (6-over 78) is tied for 16th while Skyler May (80) is 21st and Clarie Choi (82) is in 22nd. 

The Broncos as a team sits in fifth place at 21-over 309. Pepperdine is the day one leader at 11-over 299.
