Women's Golf Wraps Up Play At Ānuenue Spring Break Classic

LAHAINA, Hawai'i - Santa Clara women's golf finished out their time at the Anuenue Spring Break Classic on Wednesday, turning in a 306 for the final round to finish in ninth place at 29-over 287-300-306--893. 

Claire Choi had the team's best round of the day with a 2-over 74 that saw the Honolulu product roll in four birdies. She finished in a tie for 28th at 4-over 71-75-74--220 to tally the best finish of the Bronco lineup. Inara Sharma was three shots behind Choi with a tie for 40th at 7-over 72-75-76--223. Borina Sutikto (75-75-76--226), Lauren Shew (71-75-81--227) and Audrey Brust (73-75-80--228) tied for 48th, 52nd and 55th respectively. 

No. 25 Pepperdine took home the team title with a three-day total of 18-under 284-277-285--846 while UCLA's Zoe Campos finished 12-under 66-67-71--204 to claim medalist honors. 

The Broncos are off to Maricopa, Ariz. for the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic at Ak Chin Southern Dunes on Monday and Tuesday, Apr. 3-4 - an event that they won a season ago. Santa Clara took home both the team title and Choi won medalist honors last year.
