Santa Clara University's official athletic website, SantaClaraBroncos.com, was named one of the nation's best by Soccerbuzz.com, one of the leading internet sites for women's collegiate soccer.
Other schools that had websites recognized include Bay Area rival Stanford and North Carolina, the team Santa Clara defeated in the NCAA College Cup final en route to the 2001 National Championship.
Soccer Buzz began honoring the work done by sports information offices annually in 1996, and recognize schools nationally and regionally.
The Broncos, led by Honda Player of the Year Aly Wagner, open the 2002 season against Stanford on Friday, August 30. The match will take place at Buck Shaw Stadium at 7:30 p.m.
