For the second-straight year, the Santa Clara University women's soccer team will be featured on national television when the Broncos host Portland on Nov. 7 at Buck Shaw as part of College Sports Television's (www.collegesports.com) CSTV Soccer package this fall.
CSTV Soccer, featuring the only national college soccer telecasts, commences Thursday, September 9, when Penn State visits Connecticut in a key Big Ten-Big East women's match. One week later, on Thursday, September 16, the 2003 NCAA champion Indiana men take on intra-state rival Notre Dame. On Thursday, October 28, Portland will visit Santa Clara in a rematch of last year's NCAA women's third-round match in which Santa Clara squeezed by Portland on penalty kicks after two overtimes. Joe Beninati will call all the action on CSTV Soccer, while Tom Stone will provide expert analysis.
Beyond CSTV Soccer, CSTV will provide extensive on-air and online coverage of the all facets of college soccer. College Sports TV will offer up coverage within its roster of studio and original programs. CSTV's CollegeSports.com, the number one online destination for college sports news, information, analysis and highlights, will serve up constantly updated coverage of college soccer. It will cover more than 700 men's and women's soccer matches this fall through its exclusive GameTracker live scores and statistics feature, and will also broadcast audio or video of more than 150 matches.
"Once again, CSTV Soccer will go coast to coast to showcase the top collegiate men's and women's soccer programs and student-athletes in the nation," said Tim Pernetti, senior vice president, programming, CSTV. "In addition to featuring many teams expected to make it to NCAA play later this fall, we are giving fans the first look at rising stars who will one day represent their country in Olympic and World Cup action."

2003 quarterfinalist Penn State faces last year's runner-up, UConn; both teams will be looking for title runs again this season.
Thur., Sept. 16, 8 p.m. - Notre Dame at Indiana (Men)
State bragging rights are on the line for the Irish, coming off arguably their best season ever, and Indiana, the defending national champion.
Thur., Oct. 7, 8 p.m. - Columbia at Brown (Men)
Last year, Brown captured its 7th Ivy League title in 10 years and reached post-season play for the 20th time; Columbia has battled Brown hard the past few years, and a hot group of freshmen could spell victory for Columbia this season.
Thur., Oct. 14, 8 p.m. - Bucknell at Lafayette (Men)
Lafayette will be looking for revenge after last year's 1-0 loss to Bucknell
Thur., Oct. 21, 8 p.m. - Brigham Young at Texas (Women)
BYU will aim for its seventh straight NCAA tournament season, and ninth consecutive year ranked in the Top 25; Texas' chances are bolstered by a recruiting class ranked by some as the third best in the nation.

A duel between the 2002 (Portland) and 2001 (Santa Clara) national champs; Portland and Santa Clara are picked one-two, respectively, in the WCC pre-season poll
