SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The Santa Clara Women's Soccer team is joining the fight against breast cancer by taking part in the 2nd annual Kicks Against Breast Cancer Tournament on April 28th at Stanford University.

In the weeks leading up to the event, the team will be selling "pinkie" rubber bracelets for $2 each in an effort to raise money to help find a cure. The bracelets feature the Santa Clara Broncos logo and the words "Santa Clara Women's Soccer Kicks Against Breast Cancer". 100% of all proceeds from the sales of the bracelets will go towards the funding of breast cancer research through the Stanford University Breast Cancer Research Center, the Community Breast Health Project, and the Claudia Mayer Foundation.

Members of the team will be operating a table in Benson Memorial Center on the Santa Clara campus, where you can purchase your "pinkie" as well as make further donations to help find a cure. "Pinkies," as well as the ability to make donations, are also available in the Women's Soccer offices on the west side of the concourse level of the Leavey Center or by clicking on the PDF link at the top of this page. The tournament will run all day, admission is free and donations are encouraged.
