Head Coach Jerry Smith:

On the match
"I thought it was a good team effort and really felt good about how we played tonight."

On the team goals heading into the match
"One of the things we're really trying to work on is creating dangerous chances, and I think we did a good job of doing that tonight," said Smith. In non-conference games there are several keys, one is to experiment with different player personnel, and the other thing is to make sure that you're not overplaying anyone in the match."

On being able to play more players in tonight' match
"Anytime you have a chance to play all of your healthy players in a game, you feel good about it, and we did that tonight, including Lisa Lahman, who rarely sees time. She got in goal tonight and it was really good for her. It is always great to see someone score their first collegiate goal, and that was Lexi Orand, and of course she backed it up with a second goal. There's nothing that helps a goal-scorer's confidence more than scoring, so that will really help her going forward."

"And Bonnie Bowman, she is one of the greatest kids I have ever coached here, a fifth-year senior, coming off of an ACL injury, I was really happy to see her get on the board tonight."

Forward Kiki Bosio:

On collecting a pair of assists

"It's exciting, and kind of a relief also getting the assists, it is nice to know that I can contribute to our goals in some way. This is the first time that we've scored more than three goals, and its nice heading into conference because hopefully we can keep this up."

Forward Lexi Orand:

On scoring her first collegiate goals

"It was definitely good, it felt really exciting to score. On the first one it was kind of like slow-motion for me, I saw Jordan getting there so I just tried to frame it, and on the second goal, I didn't really even think about it, I was just trying to get the ball past the keeper."
