SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The No. 4 Santa Clara women's soccer team will head north to Moraga Saturday afternoon in search of the program's ninth West Coast Conference title. With a victory over the Saint Mary's Gaels in the 1 p.m. contest, the Broncos will clinch at least a share of the league title and will earn the conference's automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament.

Following Saturday's season finale, the Broncos (14-4-1, 4-1-1 WCC) will await their draw for the NCAA Tournament in Monday's Selection Show, which is scheduled to air on ESPNNEWS between 12-1 p.m. PT.

Santa Clara will also be looking to rebound this weekend after dropping a tough 1-0 overtime decision to the California Golden Bears Wednesday afternoon.

The Broncos will head into Saturday's match paced by the 11 goals and 25 points of leading scorer Meagan Snell, as well as by defender Marian Dalmy, who captured both the WCC Player of the Week and WCC Co-Player of the Month (October) honors this week for her sterling performances. Dalmy netted three goals and had five assists in helping lead the Broncos to a 5-1-1 mark in October, and currently leads all WCC defenders with five goals and 16 points.

Saint Mary's (3-12-4, 1-4-1 WCC) is coming off of a week which saw them tie UC Santa Barbara 1-1 midweek before dropping a 4-0 decision to San Diego in Southern California. The Gaels are led by Nikki Schrey's five goals and 13 points and the three goals and eight points of Allie Weiner.

Santa Clara leads the overall series with Saint Mary's 23-3-3, and has gone 12-2-1 against the Gaels since the WCC began sponsoring women's soccer in the 1992 season.
