SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- The Santa Clara women's soccer team has released their spring schedule, it was announced Friday. The Broncos will face three Northern California Division I opponents and two Women's Premier Soccer League's (WPSL) teams in preparation for the Fall 2009 season.
SCU will kick off the spring hosting local rival San Jose State on Thursday, April 23 at Buck Shaw Stadium. Kick off is set for 7:30 p.m.
On Thursday, May 7, Santa Clara will square off with the WPSL's Ajax America Women. Game time is set for 7 p.m. at Buck Shaw.
The following week the Broncos will host their third spring season game versus UC Davis at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 15. Two days later the California Storm of Sacramento, the second WPSL team on the schedule, will take the field at Buck Shaw. Kick off is set for 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 17.
On Thursday, May 21, Santa Clara will close out the spring season of competition at Stanford. Game time is set for 7 p.m. at Cagan Stadium in Stanford, Calif.
