SANTA CLARA, Calif. - For the second week in a row Bridgett Miller has been named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week. Coming off a week where she scored two game-winners, Miller scored the only goal in a 1-0 Bronco win over undefeated No. 3 Pepperdine and added another on Sunday at Loyola Marymount in a 4-0 Bronco win. She now has four goals in the last four Bronco games. She had two career goals entering this stretch.

Against Pepperdine, with seven seconds left in the half goalkeeper Bianca Henninger came to midfield to take a free kick. She sent the ball into the box and after it bounced around Miller got a handle and chopped the ball on the ground that found the only path through the defense for the goal. The goal made the score 1-0 Broncos where the game would end.

In the 47th minute against LMU Sarah Jackson centered a ball into the box that Miller headed past the goalkeeper to make the score 4-0.

Henninger was also named to TopDrawerSoccer.com's Team of the Week for her two shutouts vs. then-undefeated No. 3 Pepperdine and at LMU. This was the second time this season that Henninger has made the Team of the Week. The last time came on Sept. 26 when she was also the National Player of the Week.

In the 52nd minute against Pepperdine Henninger made a beautiful jumping save to keep the score at 1-0. The Waves lobbed a shot from 18 yards out that Henninger waited on and timed her leap to knock the ball over the crossbar.

In the 67th minute against LMU Henninger made a spectacular, diving save off of a shot from Brittney Sanford to keep her second shutout in as many games in order. She now has five shutouts on the season and is allowing a measly 0.58 GAA, good for second in the conference.

Miller and Henninger lead the Broncos back to the field on Fri., Nov. 4 at San Diego at 6 p.m. as the teams battle for the WCC crown. The game will be nationally televised on ESPNU.
