On this week's edition of the Bronco Weekly Sports Wrap, co-hosts Cali Reis from the women's soccer team and Denzel Johnson from the men's basketball team give a quick update on the latest Bronco sports news. This week highlights women's basketball player and EYEBRONCO reporter Nici Gilday in her great start to the 2013 season.
Women's soccer picked up multiple awards this past week with head coach Jerry Smith being named NSCAA West Region Women's Coach of the Year. Ellie Rice, Julie Johnston, Morgan Marlborough and Sofia Huerta were awarded with First Team NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division I Women's All-West Region honors. Johnston and Huerta were also recognized with All-American honors with Johnston being named to the first team and Huerta being named to the third team.
