Meet the Future of Bronco Women's Soccer: Megan Keeth

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Getting set to welcome the next wave of Broncos to the Mission campus, Santa Clara women's soccer welcomes Megan Keeth in the signing class of 2014. Keeth is from Mountain View, Calif. and attended St. Francis High School.

"I chose Santa Clara because it is absolutely beautiful and was the perfect fit for me," said Keeth. "I love everything about the school. The atmosphere and overall energy I get every time I am on campus makes me love the school more and more. The soccer program is awesome as well."

"Megan is an outstanding local student-athlete that is also part of our U-18 national pool," said Santa Clara head coach Jerry Smith. "She is a very tactical player that has a very high soccer IQ. She can play either holding midfield or center back. As a U-18 national pool player, she will come in here ready to compete for a starting position."

As a junior Keeth was named First Team All-League at St. Francis. She missed her sophomore year due to injury but was All-League Honorable Mention as a freshman and her team was Division I CCS champions.

Her club team was a national finalist in 2012 and a 2012 region champion. In 2011 her team was the FWRL champion and the Surf Cup champion.

Keeth has been to the U-18 Women's National Camp twice and was a roster selection for a U-18 tournament in La Manga, Spain.

Off the field she was a member of Women of BRIC and was involved with the National Charity League.

In her free time she enjoys doing anything active and outdoors.
