SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Megan Keeth (MK) has proven herself to be a valuable player on the Santa Clara women's soccer team. Her tenacity makes her fun to watch and Keeth has quickly become a fan favorite on the field. Santa Clara Broncos (SCB) talked with Keeth about the current spring season and what she is doing to stay motivated.

SCB: What motivates you to play soccer? Is there something or someone who inspires you to play at your highest level?

MK: What really motivates me to play soccer is how much I love the sport, my teammates and just overall how much fun I have. My teammates have always been my biggest motivators throughout my soccer career!

SCB: What are your long-term goals for your soccer career?

MK: As of now, my long-term soccer goals are to continually work hard for my team and represent SCU to the best of my ability. I don't know if I will continue to play competitive soccer at the professional level after college, it's something I am thinking about so we will see!

SCB: What makes the spring season special? How is it different than the fall season?

MK: Spring season is so special because it gives the team an opportunity to have fun, learn a lot and start to prepare for the next season!

SCB: Winning a game is awesome, but what are some of the smaller victories you and your teammates experience when you go on the field?

MK: Our little victories are definitely when everything we have been working on comes together, like the moment building up to an awesome goal. Or when we string a few nice passes together. It's the little things like that.
