SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Continuing its stretch of Pac-12 opponents, Santa Clara women's soccer hosts Washington State Sunday at 1 p.m.
On Thursday, the Broncos traveled to No. 7 UCLA and jumped out to an early lead before the Bruins came back and claimed a 4-2 victory.
SERIES HISTORY
Santa Clara is 7-1-1 all-time against Washington State with the last meeting coming in 2016. The Cougars picked up their first win the series at home last season 1-0.

THE BRONCOS
Julie Doyle and Maddy Gonzalez have both scored two goals to lead the Santa Clara (1-2) offense. Kelsey Turnbow has scored once and added an assist while Maria Sanchez has a pair of assists and Kellie Peay has one.
Melissa Lowder has allowed seven goals for a 2.33 GAA. She has 13 saves and a .650 save percentage in three games.
THE COUGARS
Washington State (1-0-1) earned a scoreless draw with No. 19 Minnesota in the season-opener and beat Saint Mary's 1-0 on Friday.
Maddy Haro scored the lone goal of the season for the Cougars. Morgan Weaver leads the team with seven shots and has put one on goal. Elyse Bennett has taken four shots and has gotten two on frame.
Ella Dederick has four saves in net.
