CHICAGO – Former Bronco and three-time First Team All-American Julie Ertz has accomplished much at a young age on the U.S. Women's National Team. Ertz began with the Americans as a center back and was a key member in the team's 2014 World Cup victory, but has recently switched positions to center mid, a position she played extensively at Santa Clara.
At the new position, Ertz scored a pair of goals against New Zealand on Friday and nearly scored again on Tuesday.
