SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's soccer sophomore Maddy Gonzalez and her family were some of the thousands affected by the recent wildfires in Northern California.
The Gonzalez family, from Santa Rosa, lost everything in the fires and a fund to help the family get back on its feet has been created. The goal of the GoFundMe is $50,000 to help Maddy and her family rebuild their lives. Funds collected will be used to help the family replace items lost in the fire.
This fundraiser is being conducted in accordance with NCAA rules in collaboration with the Santa Clara Athletics Compliance Office.
