Meet the Future of Santa Clara Women's Soccer: Brittany Pollard

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's soccer will welcome Brittany Pollard of Thousand Oaks, Calif. to the 2018 roster.

Pollard attended Agoura Hills High School where she was a team captain or co-captain each of her freshman, sophomore, and junior years before focusing on academy soccer has a senior. She was the team MVP as a sophomore and junior as well. As a sophomore and junior, Pollard was named All-Marmonte League Defensive MVP and was a first team selection as a sophomore while also picking up second team honors as a freshman. As a junior, she was also named All-CIF Southern Section D2.

Pollard played club soccer for Real So Cal from 2013-17 and academy for Eagles Soccer Club from 2017-18.

She was a scholar-athlete each of her first three years of high school and was a CIF qualifier in the high jump as a freshman in addition to being an equestrian and western horseback rider for 15 years.

Her father played volleyball at USC and her aunt played volleyball at Michigan State.

Pollard plans to major in business.
