Meet the Future of Santa Clara Women's Soccer: Kaile Halvorsen

SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's soccer will welcome Kaile Halvorsen of Hawaii Kai, Hawaii to the 2018 roster.

Halvorsen attended Kaiser High School where she was a team captain as a senior. She was all-state honorable mention as a junior, second team all-state as a sophomore, and first team all-state as a freshman. She was also second team all-conference as a junior and first team as a freshman and sophomore.

Halvorsen led her team in scoring each of her four years and led the state in scoring as a senior with 31 goals. That year her team finished second in league and fourth in the state and she was named OIA East Player of the year and to the first team.

She also qualified for the USA Track & Field nationals for the 100-meter dash.

Halvorsen played club soccer for Surf Hawaii.

In the classroom she was on the president's list as a junior and senior.

Halvorsen enjoys going to the beach and hiking in her free time.
